The well-being of animals and preservation of natural habitats is my first priority when it comes to wildlife photography. The animals you see in the images were captured in their natural settings, such as the Superior National Forest and the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge. Some, such as the skunks, black bear cub and bobcat were captured in my back yard (literally). I try to always avoid any actions that may cause harm or distress to the animals and encourage you to do the same, whether you’re taking pictures or just observing.
